Commercial Inspector's License/Renewal Application
In accordance with the City Code and NYS all 3rd Party Commercial Inspectors must be currently certified as NYS Code Enforcement Officers and maintain their certification for the duration of their licensure.

Liability insurance with coverage of at least $1,000,000 for injury or death and at least $500,000 for property damage. Liability insurance must additionally insure the City of Albany. Proof of workers compensation insurance must be provided at the time of application.

The annual license fee of $250 per inspector must be paid.

License fee/renewal fee - an invoice will be sent to you via email from noreply@epl.albanyny.gov. At that time you can opt to pay the invoice online on our CSS Portal or mail a Check/Money Order to our office at 200 Henry Johnson Blvd. - Suite 1; Albany, NY 12210.

Once payment has been made, your license will be issued and emailed to you.
